...Samplesonic (aka Steve Haw) is an electronic musician from Birmingham, England who first appeared "on the scene" in 1992 with a rave remix of the theme tune from Play School, closely followed by many other raved-up tv theme dance remixes including Mister Rossi, Mr. Benn, Casualty, Hart to Hart and Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads, besides many, many others.
From 1999 to 2001, Steve Haw released tracks under the guise of "DJ Spaceboy", remixing tracks by the likes of Blur, David Bowie and... Oliver Reed. Not before long, the "DJ Spaceboy" name became so popular that a ton of other artists were using it. Noticing this fact and wanting to avoid obvious confusion, Steve then started to work under his own name and set up his own record label "Spaceboy Muzik Limited" with the intent to distribute his music for free through various ways on the internet. This blog is one such example....
