Music video by Alabama featuring 'N Sync performing God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You. (C) 1999 BMG Music.
"(God Must Have Spent) A Little More Time on You" is the third single released from 'N Sync's self-titled debut album (US Version). While the previous singles were released in Europe, this one was not, and subsequently only charted in Australia and the US, reaching numbers 46 and 8 respectively. The single included a live version of Christopher Cross' "Sailing" as well as a limited edition postcard and the single's video.
In 1999, 'N Sync recorded the song with country music band Alabama, who was also recording on RCA Records at the time. Released in early 1999, this version charted separately from the original. It peaked at number three on the Billboard country singles charts and number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was Alabama's final Top Ten hit on the country charts, as well as the only country chart entry for 'N Sync.
The song was later included as the B-side to Alabama's next single, "Small Stuff."
