Eccentric popster Ariel Pink recently showed off his acting chops in a short film called Vagabond, but he's sharing the spotlight for his latest music video.
The new clip for pom pom track "Dayzed Inn Daydreams" stars the Mau-Mau's frontman Rick Wilder, and marks the next instalment of director Grant Singer's series of Ariel Pink videos depicting "the mundanity and bliss of suburban American life."
We've previously seen the videos for "Put Your Number in My Phone" and "Picture Me Gone." According to a press release, the latest clip tells "the story of a man, played by Rick Wilder, who was once the frontman of a band that existed decades ago. Through a series of scenes depicting his everyday life, we tell his story."
It's a sweet, and at times heartbreaking clip about coming to terms with daily life as an aging rock star. Watch it ablove. -- Exclaim!
