From Boosie's "In My Feelings. (Goin' Thru It)" project
Directed by Boosie Badazz & Sedrick Savoy. Produced by The Music Staff.
After offering up the heart-wrenching, autobiographical video for "Cancer" the other day, Boosie Badazz has now delivered another introspective short film. This time, he's letting you know that life isn't always what it seems in the clip for "Smile to Keep from Crying."
"You might think I'm happy all the time 'cuz you see smiles on my face," he raps from the waterfont, ahead of noting that he's had his fair share of problems to deal with of late.
Whether strolling over boardwalks or counting stacks in hotel rooms, he weighs in on a laundry list of bogus situations. This includes anything from dealing with fake friends and lovers to experiencing tough times behind bars.
The video, which also showcases a selection of kids and grown-ups putting on a brave face, can be found above. -- Exclaim!
