Music video by Brian McKnight performing Anytime. (C) 1997 Mercury Records

Brian McKnight (born June 5, 1969 in Buffalo, New York) is an American singer, songwriter, arranger, producer, and R&B musician, as well as currently hosting his own evening talk show. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays nine instruments: piano, guitar, bass guitar, drums, percussions, trombone, tuba, French horn and trumpet.

Anytime is a 1997 album by Brian McKnight. This was the last record McKnight recorded with Mercury Records before moving to Motown. The single "You Should Be Mine (Don't Waste Your Time)" became his biggest hit in four years, peaking at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100. It featured rapper Mase, whose own career was at its peak during 1997.

The song "Anytime" was an even bigger hit, reaching #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay Chart in May 1998. The song was not released as a single, therefor it was not eligible to chart on the Hot 100, but despite that, it was one of the most played songs on the radio during 1998.
