Today, the Queens underground rapper Bryant Dope, whose New New York mixtape we posted earlier this year, releases a new free EP called Raw Dope. Bryant’s DJ is the Queens producer Marc.R, and he made all the beats. The EP’s first single is a nicely plainspoken, beautifully produced track called “Real Is All I Know,” a song about not fitting neatly into any categories. And the track’s video, directed by goldpyrmdz, makes great use of New York apartment buildings in all their intimidating blockiness.
