The gang find a spooky abandoned house and Will dies.

Video directed by Jason Reid.

Hi, this is Will Toledo. I didn't actually die during the making of this video. Here are some links.

Releasing 11 albums in the span of five years is pretty daunting for anyone outside of, say, Guided By Voices or Lil B, but releasing 11 albums between the age of 17 and 22 is borderline insane. But, that kind of work ethic is deftly endearing and worthy of attention.

Singer-songwriter Will Toledo, better known as Car Seat Headrest, has earned the trust of Matador after moving to Seattle from Virginia and getting himself a proper backing band, and will be releasing his next studio venture Teens Of Style. Featured on the release will be 'Something Soon', which has been given the video treatment by director Jason Reid.

Reid follows Will and his bandmates having as much fun as possible in the crappiest summer cabin one can imagine on Bainbridge Island. But, as they prove, even a seemingly bad situation can turn fun if you're willing to destroy something (read: everything) with a sledgehammer and anything else that can be used as a weapon. While the path of destruction is laid, Toldeo's methodical howls creep through over layers and layers of pop shoegaze guitar punch, which subdue the song's lyrics of Toledo "wanting to close my head in the car door."
