Video by Joe Cornfield

It took Toronto folkster Charlotte Cornfield five years to prep a follow-up to her 2011 debut LP, Two Horses , but we're just a couple months away from the release of her Future Snowbird. Helping tease the collection is an in-studio-style music video for the album's shuffled "Big Volcano, Small Town," which is streaming now.

The clip takes a behind-the-scenes approach, with Cornfield found singing into a gated microphone about personal letdowns, a dream of San Francisco, and various nature-indebted personifications ("Let these twistin' trees be our knuckly fingers").

Elsewhere, Cornfield and her band goof around on the couch as they listen back to the mix.

You'll find the chronicled recording session below, while Future Snowbird drops March 11 through Consonant Records.
