Chaz French's buzz continues to build, as he capitalized on his debut mixtape Happy Belated by hitting the road with the recent XXL Freshmen GoldLink. Now that Chaz is finished up touring, he returns to Happy Belated with the premiere of a visual for "The Sh!t" off the mixtape. This will be the last visual released from the project.
The DC native enlists frequent TDE collaborator Jerome D. for the music video, so you know it's gunna be clean. The director films an appropriately turnt up visual to match the energy of Chaz's constant chant, "I know I'm the shit!"

If you're in the DC area, you can catch Chaz live at U Street Music Hall on July 12
Amid smokey haze within the darkness of what looks like an abandoned, vacant warehouse, Chaz French vehemently lets listeners knew he’s the uncontested man in the video for “The Sh!t.” Interspersed among shots of the DC rapper using bodily movement to channel his song’s elation are flashing lights and clips of mosh pits.
The Happy Belated cut is more than rambunctious energy, though; the track’s venom comes from a darker place, but its prideful lyrics note the light French found in spite of his surroundings. Even when he and his crew were nearly penniless, the possibility of millions never escaped him. Now, fame is far more likely to be attained.
