Chic - I Want Your Love • TopPop

Chic is an American disco / funk band that was formed in 1976 by famous guitarist/producer Nile Rodgers and bass player Bernard Edwards. Chic is best known for their discosongs, including Dance, dance, dance (Yowsah, yowsah, yowsah) (1977), Everybody Dance (1977), Le Freak (1978), I want your love (1978), Good Times (1979) and My forbidden lover (1979).

'I Want your love' is the follow up single to the US no. 1 hit 'Le Freak' (check out on the TopPop Channel!). It reached #14 in the Dutch Top 40 on 31 March 1971 and #7 in the USA Billboard Top 100.

 This is a TROS Top 50 TV recording made on 24 March 1979 by TROS Television.

 Chic still performs. They did a great set on the Lowlands Festival in 2018 in Biddinghuizen, the Netherlands.
