"Fool (If You Think It's Over)" is the title of a popular song from 1978 by the British singer-songwriter Chris Rea. Rea also wrote the song, which appears on his 1978 debut album, Whatever Happened to Benny Santini?.

Released as a single in 1978, the song originally failed to chart in Rea's home country. It did, however, reach the Top 40 of the American music charts, peaking at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in September 1978. The song also spent three weeks at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard adult contemporary chart. When re-released in the U.K. later in 1978, the song reached No. 30 on the UK Singles Chart.

The song has been covered by a number of other artists. British singer Elkie Brooks released her version of the song in 1981, and it reached No. 17 on the UK Singles Chart. This version also appeared on the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. German singer Thomas Anders recorded a version of the song as well; this can be found on his 1989 debut album Different.
