"Hollywood" is the first single from Collective Soul's seventh studio album Afterwords, written by Joel Kosche and Ed Roland. It is co-produced by Anthony J. Resta and was mixed at Studio Bopnique Musique in Boston MA.

The song was used as the theme song for the seventh season of American Idol.
