Glenn Frey on the Hotel California episode of "In the Studio with Redbeard" explained about the track:“ It was the first time that Don took it upon himself to write an epic story and we were already starting to worry about the environment...we're constantly screwing up paradise and that was the point of the song and that at some point there is going to be no more new frontiers. I mean we're putting junk, er, garbage into space now."

and there was only 1 radio station got the amplitude for the whole region. and every time the announcer was on air. " THE LAST RESORT" was his background and some of the people here in Legazpi City knew the song. . . thanx for hte EAGLES. . . it was very memorable including the music. . . if i will be given a chance to have a stage production the first song that i must choose?

For me this is most beautiful music i had ever heard. the rhytm, music, and the message is cool. . in the yr. 2006 the Mayon Volcano here in our country is active. but it was already erupted last 1800's ago and many had died, and last 2006th of December there was a typhoon code name was "REMING" , and it did happened again. there were no more updated technology.
