Zoom Tour Live was a one-off concert performed by Electric Light Orchestra and recorded originally for television, but was later used as a filmed release.
After the release of the 2001 album Zoom, Jeff Lynne announced a North American tour, their first live set of concerts in fifteen years. A promotional PBS show was recorded over two consecutive nights at CBS Television City in Los Angeles.
ELO's management abruptly cancelled the tour (due to slow ticket sales) and this footage was released on VHS and DVD by Image Entertainment.
The live line-up of the group was very different from the group that last toured in the eighties with only Richard Tandy surviving along with ELO leader Jeff Lynne.
Three songs from the concerts, Sweet Talkin' Woman, Rock 'n' Roll Is King and All She Wanted are unreleased, and they will reportedly show up on the CD release ELO's Greatest Hits Live coming in the future only through ELO's website http://www.elo.biz.
