"Don't Go" is the final single from En Vogue's debut album Born to Sing. It peaked at number three on the U.S. R&B Singles chart. The song is a ballad informing the male lover that his female counterpart wants him to not leave. This was the first hit ballad by En Vogue and features a vocal progression by Terry Ellis displaying her maximum 5 octave range and also one of the first recordings for Born To Sing in the summer of 1989.
