"Waiting for a Train" is the ninth single by the Australian synthpop group Flash and the Pan. It is taken from the album Headlines and became their most successful single, reaching number 7 on the UK singles chart in 1983. The song features the vocals of Stevie Wright, the former bandmate of Harry Vanda and George Young from their time in The Easybeats. The 12" contained a 5:42 long disco version which has never appeared on CD to date.
