Perth Indie Pop outfit, Foreign Architects are set to release the follow up to their debut EP, Jane, with their upcoming single, Clover, to be released on the 20th March.
Fresh from opening for Eskimo Joe at the Illuminate Street Party on the 20th Feb, the band will be launching the single and music video on the 21st of March at the Swan Hotel in Fremantle.
“It’s a song about being down and out, but still believing in yourself enough that you know you’ll find a way out” - Singer/guitarist Matt Burke.
The band leaned on their Scottish heritage in the recording of the track, ringing in drummer Andrew Barnett’s Mother to play bagpipes on the track, and the friends of the band took great delight in being on set for the filming of the Music Video, which included 2 sessions of the band being soaked under a rain machine for 3 hours at a time on set.
“The rain idea really summed up the feeling and the mood of the song for us, but once we were on set and under the cold water for the first hour, the novelty value wore off a little, but we were over the moon with the result. We think our fans will really connect with the message of the song and the video helps portray that”. – Foreign Architects
