Indie Blues-Rock band, Fritz Montana just finished recording this recent batch of songs this past January 2015 at The Panda Studios in Fremont, CA. They are working on new material and already have a slot at this year’s BottleRock Napa Valley Festival alongside Robert Plant, Passion Pit, and Portugal. The Man. Not only is Fritz Montana a hardworking group of musicians, they are also exceptionally humble about where they are now and being able to play music and pursue their dreams.
Fritz Montana originated in the Bay Area and consists of vocalist/guitarist David Marshall, Matthew Hagarty on drums, and bassist Kevin Logan. With a sound influenced by Alabama Shakes, The Black Keys, The Strokes, and Wavves, the group released their self-titled EP in 2013 and their second EP Scaredy Cat last summer. They have already shared the stage with Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend, and Queens of the Stone Age and have been playing even more shows across California this past month.
Fritz Montana’s story is simple: three guys sharing their passion of making music and are proof that if you believe in something and work towards it, a lot can be accomplished.
