Gloria Gaynor (real name: Gloria Fowles, born 7 September, 1949) is an American soul singer. She is best known for the disco era hits "I Will Survive" (Billboard Hot 100 number 1, 1979), "Never Can Say Goodbye" (Billboard 100 number 9, 1974), "Let Me Know (I Have a Right)" (Billboard 100 number 42, 1980) and "I Am What I Am" (R&B number 82, 1983).

The song 'Stop In The Name of Love' is a song recorded by the Supremes in 1965. It was originally written and produced by Motown's main production team, Holland–Dozier–Holland.
Gaynor's version reached # 50 in the Dutch Top 100 in 1983.
