This is a cover of Black Sabbath off the album Black Sabbath originally by Black Sabbath, by Gonga...

Featuring vocals by Beth Gibbons

What is this that stands before us? Well, it's a cover of metal forefathers Black Sabbath titular, doomy anthem, as prepped by Bristol, UK stoner crew GONGA, with Portishead vocalist Beth Gibbons subbing in for Ozzy Osbourne. Recast as the punny "Black Sabbeth," it's just as weird, gloomy and incredible as you'd imagine.

Sometimes you just can't mess with a classic, so GONGA keeps things suitably sludgy as the original, breaking out those ominous and unholy, Iommi-style hammer-ons and plodding drums as we've grown to love them. Though never quite reaching the ghoulish heights of Ozzy's tortured cries, Gibbons spins her own brand of whispered creepiness throughout the cover.

As for the visuals, it's a no-brainer: clips from Mario Bava's 1963 horror film Black Sabbath.
