Canadian folk-pop unit Great Lake Swimmers recently released their latest LP A Forest of Arms, and now they've offered up a new video to accompany album cut "Zero in the City."
The artsy clip takes the viewer on a journey through clouds, forests, towns and sea that have been artistically altered to give off a paper cut-out effect. Vintage prints, portraits and architecture fill the backgrounds as the camera weaves between settings, propelled by the song's steady beat.
The antique-y, folk art feel matches the gentle acoustic guitars and soaring strings of "Zero in the City," and you can see them come together by hitting play above.
A Forest of Arms is out now via Nettwerk. -- Exclaim!
