South London slacker-rockers Happyness covered The Smiths' classic anthem from 1986's 'The Queen Is Dead' before their NME Awards Show with Austin, Texas at London's Birthdays.

Happyness - one of our esteemed Bands To Watch - recently played a show for NME and, while there, performed a cover of the Smiths’ all-time classic The Queen Is Dead track “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out.” The song’s been covered to death, but the South London band do a good enough job, giving it their own slacker rock spin.
