Vancouver-based hip-hop songstress Jaclyn Gee dropped her latest LP Gypsy Rose earlier this year, and now she's ready to roll out a brand new video for album cut "Apology." We've got your exclusive first look at the clip.

It was directed by fellow Stealth Bomb crew member Snak the Ripper and finds Gee emerging from a pitch-black background, lit up by strategically placed and vibrantly coloured lights. There also a bad-ass shot of the singer wielding an intimidating-looking blade — but if that doesn't get the message across that she's not to be messed with, the song's lyrics scrawled across the screen might help.

"I basically came up from nothing to starting to see everything I ever dreamed start to slowly unveil," Gee said in a statement. "It's a pretty unstoppable feeling and that's what this song is all about being unstoppable no matter the circumstance."

You can catch the singer at the Fortune Sound Club in Vancouver with Lil Debbie on December 18, with more North American live dates in the works for 2016.
