"The video is trying to reflect the organic and mathematical explorations of the music, by using (urban) architecture and their geometrical structure, slowly embedding organic forms and an unsettling subtext of the repressed history of native Americans penetrating the ‘meaningless void’ of modern shapes.
The music evolves on recordings of the Kiowa tribe, whereas the video uses old footage of the Sioux Ghost War dance and some of the oldest recordings of native american drumming, to contextualise the subconscious traces of the unwanted past and it’s deadly record. Ghost images haunting the static silence of historical amnesia. Phallic urban structures transforming into totems used for surreal war rituals.
Primordial elements like fire, water, the sky (air) and earth shining through the ruins of urbanity, troubled places that have lost their meaning. Reduced tempo, static shots, minimalistic tendencies evolve into a dense image, and sound composition allowing for spaces of thoughts to unfold and for associations to be constructed and/or deconstructed."
