Joan Jett & The Blackhearts - Crimson And Clover • TopPop

Crimson And Clover was a big hit for Tommy James & The Shondells in the 1960's.

It was re-recorded by Joan Jett (born Joan Marie Larkin, September 22, 1958), the American rock singer, songwriter, composer, record producer and actress that became known with her group The Blackhearts after she left the all girl group The Runaways.

The Runaways had a massive hit with the song "Cherry Bomb".
The Blackhearts' version of the song "I Love Rock 'n Roll" was # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks in 1982.

Joan Jett's other notable hit songs include "Bad Reputation", "Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)", "Light of Day", "I Hate Myself for Loving You" and "Dirty Deeds".

This TopPop video was recorded on 13 April 1982 but never broadcast.
