The idea was to illustrate the isolation that people feel; like they're all just existing alone within their own worlds. But even with this isolation, there is always hope for something better. Sometimes all it takes is to cross a bridge and see what's on the other side. The video was shot by Teqtonik, a duo of live action/animation directors who's mantra is to push the creative envelop to the edge and sometimes over. During the last six years they have developed their own unique style and approach to music videos and commercials. The team has garnered many awards and nominations including the young guns award from the Art Directors Club of New York. Together these two continue to stand out from the rest by combining both traditional and digital techniques with there frenetic creativity and imagination. Heartless is the third video that Justin and Teqtonik have collaborated on. The video was shot on location at Tiffany Falls in Hamilton, Canada
