Shot on a cold day in November in a secret spot I stumbled upon in Etobicoke. I felt drawn to watching the seagulls and the water for hours, and felt both reflective, hopeful and sad at the same time. I filmed everything and put it together for this song. 'Repeat' is about loss, sadness and understanding. It was an important part of grieving during a loss in my life, and I hope it helps you too.
"Repeat" is written by Kat Burns (SOCAN/BMI) and appears on the EP 'Bones'. Available to stream and purchase on all digital retailers.

Toronto's KASHKA has dug up a promo film behind her Bones EP, offering up a greyed-out, though tranquil set of visuals to accompany the acoustic arrangement of "Repeat." You can give the scenic clip multiple views online now.
A press release explains that the video was filmed off the shores of Lake Ontario, with the sight of circling seagulls and water splashing against rocks cueing up nicely with the wistful strums of the remodeled and stripped-down "Again," which had originally appeared on KASHKA's Bound LP.
The video definitely taps into isolation, with the view of Toronto obscured by an expansive body of water. Of the situation summed up in song, KASHKA sings: "I just can't comprehend that we will never speak again."
