With his latest mixtape Word O.K. now available to download, Kool A.D. has released a video for one of the album’s premiere cuts, “Tight.” Featuring Lakutis and Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire, the track is a woozy, gleeful blend of punchlines and shit-talking, while also highlighting the unhinged madness of Kool A.D.’s collaborators. It also features a surprising, but welcome, production credit from Toro Y Moi.
The video takes a level approach in representing the track, depicting the three rappers in black-and-white against a plain backdrop. However, some skillful editing makes the clip simultaneously mesmerizing and unsettling. Watch the entire thing above.
