Laura Marling is set to return with her new studio album Short Movie, so it's apt that she's shared a short film in advance of the record's release.

The 6-minute clip - titled Woman Driver - was directed by Chris Perkel, as part of the 72-Hour National Film Challenge in Marfa, TX, where it won Best in Genre, Best Actress and Best Soundtrack.

That soundtrack features three new songs from Marling, who also co-wrote the film and stars as a hitchhiker who catches a ride in a school bus RV.

Short Movie arrives on March 24 via Ribbon Music.
