Leanne Kingwell is from Australia and has been making solid rock music for awhile. She seized an opportunity to perform with famed rockers, The Angels, at Fremantle Stadium and has since released her solo debut album Show Ya What, which was named one of the top albums of that year by Billboard's Chuck Eddy. Her newest album, Choking on Halos, music critic Billy Pinnell called "a perfect marriage of riff-laden rock, romantic ballads, and insightful lyrics."
