Taken from Before The Dawn Heals Us, M83’s third studio album, and perhaps the one that catapulted their success in North America. Lauded by Spin as one of 2005’s Next Big Things, with glowing press from Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, Vice, Pitchfork and a myriad of other publications, M83 saw their first major television commercial with “Don't Save Us From The Flames” featured in a Pontiac ad. 2005 also saw M83 perform at the prestigious Lollapalooza, Coachella, Austin City Limits, and headlining KEXP’s Benefit Concert in Seattle.

French electro-pop songsmith M83 (a.k.a. Anthony Gonzalez) recently reissued a chunk of his back catalogue, with re-pressings of his 2001 self-titled debut, 2003's Dead Cities, Red Seas, & Lost Ghosts and 2005's Before the Dawn Heals Us on Mute.
In support of the rereleased material, he also unveiled a previously unreleased video for "Lower Your Eyelids to Die with the Sun." Now Gonzalez has dug up another gem from the vault and has shared another unearthed clip for "In the Cold I'm Standing."
The video is a stripped-down affair (literally) and features a sombre-looking couple embracing each other against an ominous black backdrop. Smoke and fire effects add some visual interest to the sensual clip, and if you watch til the end, you'll catch a cameo from a giant majestic eagle for some reason. -- Exclaim!
