Live video of Melanie De Biasio performing I'm Gonna Leave You from her debut album No Deal, recorded at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels in December 2013.

The track is taken from the new album 'No Deal'.

“No Deal’s atmosphere lurks in the same place as This Mortal Coil’s Lynchian glow, Portishead’s sinister authority, and Mark Hollis of Talk Talk’s smoky self-titled solo album” **** The Guardian

“On a line between a beats-free Portishead and a subtle union of the voices of June Christy and Mahalia Jackson” **** MOJO

“…invokes the emotional candour of Nina Simone. Spellbinding stuff” **** Record Collector

“No Deal is an album to get completely immersed in”
**** BBC Music Magazine

Originally from Charleroi and currently based in Brussels, De Biasio is the possessor of an extraordinarily expressive voice - she has been called the Belgian Billie Holiday. The minimalist, semi-improvised No Deal should appeal to fans of late-period Talk Talk, who’s Mark Hollis is a huge figure for De Biasio. She also cites Frank Zappa and Pink Floyd as formative influences, plus jazz icons Nina Simone and Abbey Lincoln.
