Toronto hip-hop crew Notes to Self recently released their album Target Market [Recoil] through Decon Records, and now they've shared a video for that collection's bummed-out closing track, "Used to Be Dark."

The video for this down-tempo number shows a young woman going about her life and doing everything from riding her bike around town to dusting her apartment and smoking cigarettes. The whole thing has a faint air of melancholy, and it's slightly NSFW thanks to a brief shower scene.

Ontario songwriter Lee Gaul shows up in the video to strum his guitar and sing the song's folksy hook. -- Exclaim!
