After hitting #1 on Canada's National Electronic Chart in October 2015, Toronto electro-pop trio PARALLELS is back with their third album "Metropolis". NME described front-woman, Holly Dodson’s vocals as "A young Madonna meet’s modern electro”. They can be heard in the soundtrack of 2013 Oscar winning short-film “Curfew” featuring Parallels’ song “Dry Blood”. On stage, Holly is joined by her brother, Nick Dodson on drums and keyboardist Artem Galperine on synths.

Toronto synth-popsters Parallels gave us their latest LP Metropolis earlier this year, and now the band have unveiled a new video for album cut "I.R.L."
Like the title implies, the track addresses the divide between meeting on the internet and finding a true connection in real life. Or, as the band's frontwoman and producer Holly Dodson puts it: "It's a daydreamy power ballad about modern love and online dating."
The video captures that essence; it follows a young man literally getting pulled into real life through his computer screen, while dramatic lighting and fog machines encompass the band as they perform in the background.
The video was shot in downtown Phoenix and the Saguaro Desert by Manchester-born, Phoenix-based director Jack Chapman for Red Knight Media.
