Sir Paul McCartney teamed up with first-person shooter game Destiny earlier this year for his first foray into videogame scoring, crafting an interactive musical experience with the help of composers Marty O'Donnell and Mike Salvatori.
Macca also contributed the game's theme song "Hope for the Future," which was recorded at Abbey Road with a 120-piece ensemble and overseen by George Martin's son Giles Martin. Well, that track has now received an official single release, complete with a new video.
The clip goes full sci-fi, featuring Sir Paul as a hologram, surrounded by Destiny's world of gameplay. The space scenery and computer-generated characters take McCartney out of this world and into the final frontier.
