Indianapolis born PRAVADA has just unleashed their new and intriguing video for “Flatbush,” off of their latest record, Dirty Looks. The highly anticipated piece kicked off with a premiere via Big Takeover Magazine earlier this week. Featuring the trio, the group brings out their more feminine side, while being guides to a young woman around Flatbush, Brooklyn.
Drummer Casey Tennis says of the track “Flatbush is about the struggles of a young girl on her own in New York City. Her difficulties are lessened by a mysterious fairy God mother drag queens.”
Evoking elements of The Cars and The Faint, Pravada is out to please. Pravada is Jesse Lee (vocals, guitar), Casey Tennis (drums, keyboards), and Hubert Glover (horns, bass). Dirty Looks was recorded at Queensize Studios in Indianapolis. Produced by Casey Tennis and Andy Fry and engineered and recorded by Fry and Tyler Watkins. It was mixed and mastered by J.B. Andrews. The songs were written by Lee, arranged by Tennis, with lyrics written by Lee and Tennis.
