"Nobody Wants to Be Lonely" is the second single from Ricky Martin's second English album, Sound Loaded, released on January 9, 2001. Ricky Martin also recorded this single in Spanish entitled "Sólo Quiero Amarte". Another version of the song was recorded as a duet with Christina Aguilera. This duet version was later included on three of Martin's compilations: The Best of Ricky Martin, 17 and 17: Greatest Hits, and the international version of Aguilera's greatest hits album, Keeps Gettin' Better: A Decade of Hits.
