Back in September, electronically inclined Vancouver pop-rock group Rococode rolled out a new song called "Banks," and now they've given it a music video.

The clip matches the pensive tone of the slow-simmering electronic art-pop track, as we see slow motion images of people staring blankly past the camera, an overflowing glass of orange juice, and a couple of lovers in a shadowy tableau. Eventually, all of the glum-looking individuals meet up in a field and discover something rather surreal when they get there.

It was directed by the creative team Fivethousand Fingers, who said in a statement, "Have you ever wished that a window would open in that wall in front of you and you would finally see that another world does exist? Have you wished that something extraordinary would happen and you could leave everything else behind you?"

Watch it above. This comes from Rococode's new batch of songs recorded with producers Caleb Shreve (Phantogram, Wu-Tang Clan) and Ted Gowans (Tegan and Sara, Astronautalis). The band are planning to head to Los Angeles later this month to finish recording their new album.
