Sabota's video for "Don't Ask" comes through Scion Sessions continued support of Canadian electronic label, Hybridity Music. Sabota was recently featured on Scion Sessions' double 12" compilation celebrating Hybridity's 2nd Anniversary and their impressive crop of emerging and established artists.

The name "Sabota" comes from the infamous area in Nelson BC, where kids congregate late at night to hook up and watch the sun come up. Both Max Ulis and Robbie Slade have (if somewhat indirect) roots in the area, making it a fitting concept for their collaboration. Their sound is inspired by what happened on Sabota Road, and on similar streets in similar places, in the hour just before sunrise.

Having released a self-titled album earlier this year, Vancouver electronic duo Sabota — consisting of Humans member Robbie Slade and dance producer Max Ulis — have rolled out a clip for that album's opening cut, "Don't Ask."

The abstract clip brings the hypnotically beat-driven electronic track to life, as ripples and vibrations move in time with the rhythms. These abstract visuals flicker through the five-minute duration of the song.
