Sparrows new single ‘Cave Eater’, taken from the Cave Eater 2-track single, available now!! Includes cover of Failure’s ‘Sergeant Politeness’.

Before Canadian post-hardcore foursome Sparrows formally follow up last year's Dragging Hell EP with a full-length release, the group are teasing the set with a new music video. You can watch the crew pound it out in the practice space via the clip for sung-and-screamed anthem "Cave Eater."

The video, directed by Miguel Barbosa, is intentionally straight forward, finding the act slamming out beats and mangling their Telecasters and PRS guitars with chunky, detuned riffs. There's also a bit of extra-curricular damage going on, with the band apparently having poked holes in the walls with their gear.

"The idea of a straight live video has always intrigued us as a band, as we do consider ourselves a 'live band first' kind of band," vocalist/guitarist Dan Thomson said in a statement. "Miguel took that idea and ran with it, and gave us what feels like the best of both worlds; a live video that shows the intensity of our show, without the dull feeling of that generic, live clip video. We really couldn't be happier with how it all turned out."

Sparrows' as-yet-unnamed new record is due this fall via New Damage Records.
