Suicidal Tendencies is a band that was founded in Venice, Los Angeles, California, in 1981 by the leader and only permanent member, singer Mike Muir. The band is credited as one of "the fathers of crossover thrash".

Controlled by Hatred/Feel Like Shit...Déjà Vu is a compilation album by the American thrash metal/crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies. It was released October 17, 1989 on Epic Records.

This is a compilation of two of the group's earlier EPs, which both feature never-before released material. Due to the album containing 9 tracks and running almost 40 minutes long, many consider it their fourth full-length album. According to the band, it is either a compilation album, an EP or what they describe "the longest EP".

This would be Robert Trujillo's first work with Suicidal Tendencies and the first of three Suicidal Tendencies albums to go gold.
