Baltimore's pop rock four-piece The Hollow Party releases their debut video for their breakout hit "Basic Girl.” Longtime friends, bandmates Drew Bostwick (Drums), Andrew Vendelis (Lead Guitar), Danny Vinton (Bass), and Quinn Hopkins (Rhythm Guitar) started playing together when they were only sixth graders. They earned their chops over the years playing Baltimore’s premiere venues such as Rams Head Live!, Merriweather Post Pavilion, The 8x10 Club, and The Ottobar, even opening for bands like Fuel and A Skylit Drive. Veterans of the Vans Warped Tour, The Hollow Party is inspired by artists such as The Foo Fighters, The Killers, and Weezer.
Now Seniors in high school, the band is looking forward to the major label release of their upcoming EP Their new single “Basic Girl” is the debut from that EP.
"Give me a basic girl, don’t make it complicated,” the band chants in unison, "Don’t need a superstar, just what your momma gave you” encouraging girls everywhere that they are perfect just the way they are.
