Aussie pop-rock outfit the Jezabels released their album The Brink earlier this month via Dine Alone, and now they've shared a video for the cut "Angels of Fire."

The song is a restrained, synth-aided pop tune, and the video is a low-key affair. We see shots from various locations around a city — including an amusement park and a graveyard — as the band members stare at the camera and lip-sync with deadpan expressions.

In a statement, vocalist Hayley Mary explained: "This song stands out from the rest of our songs in my mind. It was one of the quickest songs to write. The music just flowed so well to me, that a melody and words just started coming out. It one of those cliches but it didn't feel like we were writing it, it was just happening. I suppose, in that way it's one of our more honest 'pure' songs, if you're into that idea. Really it's just about noticing yourself getting cynical, and wanting to stop that happening, but again, if you've heard the song that should be kinda obvious."
