"Music to drink to. Music to dance to. Music to sit on the porch and ponder..."
The grey sky opened up and the sun came out to shine on The Matinée for their Green Couch Session, filmed at the Historical Docks outside the Maritime Museum. Surrounded by old boats and bobbing slightly up and down on the docks the boys played "The Sinking of the Greenhill Park" which they wrote for Vancouver's 125th Birthday.
The song tells the story of one of the biggest explosions in the ports history and the man who told the rest of the story on his death bed almost two decades latter. To learn more about the Greenhill Park explosion visit: vancouverhistory.ca/?archives_greenhill_park.htm
