"You see, This is a story... about a place not really that far away actually, where the outcast creatures, ghouls, hounds, werewolves and monsters all go to play.

Listen close, and you can hear the hooves dancing, shaking the ground, their stomachs rumbling, flesh bubbling, under the red moon, all breaking it down. They descend from the far corners of the earth, out of the closest, from under the beds, down from the mountains, from the dams of lost rivers and from deep inside your head.

Like tornadoes under the desert, banshees ripping apart the clouds,
the spriits arrive in caravans to feast each Halloween on these hollow grounds.

And if by some unfortunate chance, or twisted fate you find yourself there too, well I'm afraid, you'll never get out. Cause this my new friend, is where the Freaks hang out."

Inspired by the 1967 Rankin/Bass Halloween classic "Mad Monstery Party"

"Where the Freaks Hang Out" features Jesse Tabish from Other Lives on organ/piano, Logan Matheny from Roman Candle on drums and Matt Douglas (Hot at Nights) on horns. This video features entirely handmade sets.
