"Bleeders" - The album Out Now! www.thetroublewithtempleton.com
The first music video from The Trouble With Templeton for his single 'Bleeders.'
"The singer Thomas Calder of The Trouble with Templeton from Brisbane, Australia beckoned in a large crowd at The Church...He sang with conviction and a roller coaster of highs and lows with booming lyrics and fast guitar strumming to picking the strings softly and decrescending as a whisper to nothing" - Neon Tommy (on Culture Collide 2012 performance)
"Thomas Calder's performance at Culture Collide was utterly captivating: his gentle voice is crisp and honest while he delivers such a fervent stage presence, even his calculated guitar notes seem effortless." - Indie Rock Reviews
In addition to high-profile appearances at Filter Magazine's Culture Collide Festival, Australian sensation Thomas Calder aka The Trouble With Templeton is bringing his brand of sweeping, soulful balladry to select dates at New York's CMJ Music Marathon.
Having drawn comparisons to Elliot Smith and Jeff Buckley, frontman Calder and his merry band of noisemakers The Trouble With Templeton have received raves in their native Australia for debut album Bleeders. Released in The U.S. as the I Wrote A Novel EP debuted at #18 Most Added on the CMJ Chart, and received regular radio play across the US. For this year's CMJ Music Marathon, Calder is temporarily leaving his mates in Australia and traveling solo. Having honed his live show on tour with Father John Misty and Of Monsters and Men, Calder's performances are at turns intimate and expansive, balancing delicate melodies with sweeping harmonies.
The band's debut video "Bleeders," set during a moonlit walk through the dense fog, visually captures the haunting and beautiful soundscapes of The Trouble With Templeton.
