The Tubes are a San Francisco-based rock band, whose 1975 debut album included the hit single, "White Punks on Dope". During its first fifteen years or so, the band's live performances combined quasi-pornography with wild satires of media, consumerism, and politics.

Outside Inside is a 1983 release on Capitol Records by The Tubes.

The Tubes had their biggest radio hit with the single "She's A Beauty" (flipside of single was non-album track "When You're Ready To Come").

=M= says: wow.. superb track, The Tubes with a lot of help from the guys from Toto who play on this album as session musicians. Yes that guitar solo is Steve Lukather and most of those synths are Porcaro/Paich. And David Foster did his bit too I reckon. The song is about a peep show, not that the video would show any of that of course.
