With life experience song writing, catchy melodies and a strong work ethic and vision, The White Orcas deliver Australian Alternative Rock with passion and energy.
The White Orcas are from the isolated town of Esperance, southeast of Western Australia, who deliver a much larger sound than the sleepy town they come from. Shayne Witt (Singer/Songwriter) established The White Orcas in 2008 and the band currently consists of Jarrad Montgomerie (Bass) and Matthew Brennand (Drums).
After a few years of critiquing their style and sound, and perfecting their live performances, their debut single, Set Me Free (recorded at Electric City Studios and produced by Adam Round), has arrived.
Set Me Free is powerful, strong and honest, capturing its listeners with its lyrics, sound and delivery. Losing a loved one to cancer is both emotional and devastating with many people able to relate to such a tragedy. Set Me Free raises the question, what would it be like from the other side? If it was you lying there, succumbing to the illness, leaving your loved ones behind. What must go through your head? How hard must it be?
Set Me Free is dedicated to all those touched by loss, but especially those brave souls who eventually had to let go.
