Proggy BC pop-rock band We Are the City recently issued the live EP PXTK, promising that live videos would emerge at weekly intervals. Sure enough, they have now shared a clip for the cut "Friends Hurt."

The performance begins with a few bassy blasts followed by more than a minute of nothing except for a minimal electronic beat. The song more closely begins to resemble the album cut from Violent once the arrangement is fleshed out by keyboard plunks, guitar stabs and thoughtfully pensive vocals.

The accompanying video consists entirely of colour-tinted footage filmed at peculiar angles, and it captures a pretty sweet stage dive towards the end.
