Scottish experimentalists Young Fathers released their latest album earlier this week, and with it came a considerable change in sound. White Men Are Black Men Too shows that the trio are more than capable of moving themselves in different directions on a whim, making music that is just as accessible as it is challenging. The first single from the record, “Shame,” has received a Jeremy Cole-directed video that makes note of this notion.

Starring an aggressive and bloodied teen, the video shows the character slowly moving from an intimidating swagger, to a determined sprint and an impassioned flurry of dance-like moves. It’s just as intense as the track itself, defying expectations with its final moments.
